Best Of 2017
A selection of my favourite photos from 2017 in a quick and fun slideshow.
2018 has a much more pleasing feel to it than 2017. Maybe it's the fact that it's an even number. Anyway, 2017 was another good year for me and my business. I've won some terrific new clients and have begun to focus the business more on corporate photography than ever before. This has led to more people finding me through Google which is great for them and me!
In 2018 I'm aiming to continue this trend and I'd love to acquire some more regular clients who have an ongoing need for fresh, creative and stand out corporate photography. Whether it's portraits of people, photos of events or office photos for your company website, I can and would love to help. Just get in touch.
It was a challenging task whittling down the many thousands of images I shot last year to a manageable amount, but a fun process too, often stumbling across images I had forgotten about. That's what I love about photos, the way they can reignite a memory that had faded.
Anyway, on with the show, or slideshow in this case. Happy new year everyone, thanks for swinging by my website. Andy
2016: Not A Great Year For The World, But A Decent One For Me
A slideshow of my favourite work from 2016.
2016 won't be a year that many people remember fondly, what with everything that's happened on a global scale. I certainly won't look back fondly on Brexit and Trump's win. Not to mention all the lovely famous people who passed away this year.
But on a personal level, 2016 was the year I got married and a year in which my business has continued to grow at an increasing rate. Here's a photo of my wife Rachel and I on our wedding day having the time of our life, taken by the absolutely brilliant Jon Mold.
So I'll always look back on April 2016 fondly, particularly our honeymoon trip to Japan.
This year I've been lucky enough to work with more fantastic people than I can name. I've photographed loads of events, from huge corporate dinners through to charity marches through the streets of London. I've photographed lots of beautiful homes, and even more beautiful homes in progress (read building sites). Luxury retails outlets have been in front of my lens more and more, whilst I've also snapped plenty of people's headshots. All in all its been a varied year, with plenty of weddings, and even a secret treasure hunt proposal!
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who I've worked with and has supported me this year. I look forward to working with you again in the year to come and of course look forward to meeting and working with lots of new faces too.
Here's a selection of my favourite images from the year. You can see a few more in the slideshow at the top!
2016 So Far...
The first few months of a busy 2016 summed up.
The first few months of 2016 have been pretty busy, with planning a wedding, doing various bits of home renovations and trying to earn a living all at the same time!
To give you an idea of what I've been up to in the first few months of the year, here is a selection of images. I've shot quite a few events, interiors, and portraits so far this year, and I've loved every minute of it.
And I'm back...
A lot has happened since I last blogged at the end of last year.
I've been busy with a selection of work, but the most important thing that has happened is my wedding....I'm now a married man, which is cool.
My wife and I had the most incredible wedding day and then headed straight off on honeymoon. We flew to Tokyo and spend 12 non-stop days exploring Japan. We spent time in Tokyo, Hiroshima, Miyajima Island, Kyoto and Hakone before heading back home.
Japan is a brilliant country that I thoroughly recommend you check out if you ever get the chance. It's a mad combination of ultra modern and traditional. The food is delicious (well, it is if you like Japanese food in the first place!), and all the people are super friendly and welcoming, even if they barely speak a word of English!
Here's a selection of images from our time in the land of the rising sun.
