A Little Bit About Me
I got my first digital camera, a Sony Cybershot DSC-S75, in 2001 when I was 18. It had 3.3 megapixels and was nearly the size of a DSLR today! I loved that camera. Anyway, since 2001 I've gone through many cameras, multiple lenses and learned a whole lot about different styles and approaches to photography.
Since turning 'pro' in late 2012, I've taken photos for annual reports, theatres, coffee shops, jewellery designers, retirement homes and live music acts. I've also captured weddings, one very public funeral, a few marches, various sports events, and carried out shoots for agencies and corporates.
I've had work published in The Times, The Independent, The 'i', Shortlist Magazine as well as numerous online publications including BBC.co.uk, DailyMail.co.uk, TheMirror.co.uk and DigitalSpy.co.uk. I've also had work published in trade publications like The Grocer and many other blogs and regional news websites.
I value my professionalism, reliability and work ethic very highly, as well as my ability to get on with people from all walks of life. Having a background in communications strategy, I understand the importance of great imagery.
It's the combination of these factors that mean that the majority of my clients book me again after the first booking.
As a professional, I am also fully insured should anything go wrong on a shoot, with £2 million in public liability and £25,000 of professional indemnity cover.
If you’re a photographer interested in the gear I use, you can see it all on my Shotkit entry.
