Corporate Headshots For Insurance
In the world of insurance, trust is key. So headshots need to reflect that.
Insurance is huge business, and there is inherently a great deal of trust given to businesses as a whole and people at an individual level.
An insurance business wants its clients to trust its people and want to do business with them, so their external facing image is really important. The corporate headshots of their people play a big part in that image. That’s where I come in, taking headshots that help every individual look and feel great in their headshot. It’s not just about the end result, but how you get there; the experience. I give each and every person advice on how to look their absolute best in their photo, and I work with them until we get a photo they are really happy with. It’s this experience which my clients love and I often get feedback from the organising client that everyone felt that their short headshot session was great and I really helped them look their best.
This insurance company in the heart of the City of London invited me along to take headshots of many of their staff across multiple days and they were very individually and collectively delighted with the resulting images.
Here are some of my favourites from that day.
A McDonald's People Conference
A conference for all the people managers from McDonald’s across the UK.
McDonald’s obviously employs thousands of people across the UK to run its restaurants, and each of those restaurants is looked after by managers and those managers are looked after by area managers, as you would expect in a business of its size.
I was invited along to photograph a conference for these people in Milton Keynes, where they talked about what was working for the business and what they are planning for the future, as well as doing some fun team-building activities. They even capped it off with a sit-down dinner and party in the evening which featured a great quiz run by a chap in a very colourful suit indeed!
Here are some of my favourite images from the conference.
Elvis, Audrey, Marilyn and Friends
A fun fancy-dress party for EF at Ashridge House.
I’m not sure exactly what the theme for this party was, to be completely honest, but I think it was the 1930’s to 1960’s, because there were people dressed up as Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley and people from Grease. Whatever the theme was for this party for the staff at EF’s business school at Ashridge, it was another great EF party.
The costumes were great and the atmosphere was lively to say the least. The setting was the beautiful Ashridge House, but as an evening event later in the year, it was all inside after dark. There was a flashmob, a dance from the management team and some excellent shapes thrown on the dance floor after dinner.
The images hopefully do it justice.
Corporate Headshots and Groups
Headshot & group photos for London businesses.
I love photographing headshots for businesses large and small across London. Organisations of any size all benefit from high quality portrait photography. It sounds corny, but in this day and age (it’s 2020 already, oh my), your personal and your business image are more important than ever. Don’t underestimate the difference having a great photo can make to your online image and whether or not people will want to do business with you. Sure, you can just book any old photographer to take your professional headshot. But like anything in life, you get what you pay for, so I recommend doing your research before booking a photographer. Not every headshot is the same, and the experience can vary wildly from photographer to photographer.
I’ve been doing corporate portrait photography now for 7 years and I continue to train and improve my craft, never resting on my laurels. I always try and make each set of photos better than the last set.
I took the photos below for an organisation called Africa Green Co, based in London but whose mission is to increase private sector investment in energy generation in sub-Saharan Africa.
