Corporate Headshots and Groups
Headshot & group photos for London businesses.
I love photographing headshots for businesses large and small across London. Organisations of any size all benefit from high quality portrait photography. It sounds corny, but in this day and age (it’s 2020 already, oh my), your personal and your business image are more important than ever. Don’t underestimate the difference having a great photo can make to your online image and whether or not people will want to do business with you. Sure, you can just book any old photographer to take your professional headshot. But like anything in life, you get what you pay for, so I recommend doing your research before booking a photographer. Not every headshot is the same, and the experience can vary wildly from photographer to photographer.
I’ve been doing corporate portrait photography now for 7 years and I continue to train and improve my craft, never resting on my laurels. I always try and make each set of photos better than the last set.
I took the photos below for an organisation called Africa Green Co, based in London but whose mission is to increase private sector investment in energy generation in sub-Saharan Africa.
Celebrating Long Serving Staff
The London Clinic celebrated its long-serving staff with these awards.
Organisations of any kind are nothing without their people. They are what make a business tick. They make stuff happen, they create an atmosphere and work culture, and they push things forward.
Every industry and organisation is different, and staff turnover is unavoidable, but you can tell a great place to work by the number of people who have been there for many years. The London Clinic is one of those places, and they celebrate their long-serving staff members with an awards ceremony, which I was invited along to photograph at the Royal College of Physicians on the South East corner of Regents Park.
The people at the London Clinic, of whom I have now met a lot, are all lovely. I think you have to be to look after patients every day. Their warmth and positivity is clear to all upon meeting them. It’s great that the organisation celebrates its people, and here are some of my favourite images from the evening.
People Of McDonald's
I met and photographed some of the senior people at the McDonald’s HQ in London.
I was lucky enough to visit the UK headquarters of McDonald’s in London where I was asked to take some portrait photos of some of their senior people.
I’ve heard a few times that McDonald’s is a great company to work for, and every time I meet people who work there, I can see why. They’re a friendly and welcoming bunch, whether you’re talking to someone who is just starting their career or someone who is on the executive board. That says a lot about the atmosphere within a company I think. Everyone in the same boat, heading in the same direction.
Here are some of the images I took recently of some senior people in a breakout area of the office.
Sharp Christmas Drinks
A Christmas drinks reception at the Scalpel in the heart of the City of London.
The lovely folks at JTC invited me along to capture some photos at a Christmas drinks reception for some of their clients at their new offices in one of the newer buildings of note in the London skyline. The Scalpel, as it is known, is right in the heart of the city across the road from the Lloyds building and the cheese grater, the Leadenhall Building.
The JTC office is brightly lit with accents of the brand’s purple colour, and it looks very smart indeed. The views from the office are fantastic - even better during the day, I’m sure, rather than at night when I was there.
Following some drinks and canapes, guests were welcomed by the head honcho and then the party continued into the evening. Upon leaving, guests were gifted a lovely looking gin tasting set.
Some of my favourite images from the evening can be seen below.
