1000 Lawyers In A Room
It can only be the annual Legal Business Awards at Grosvenor House Hotel.
The Great Room in Grosvenor House Hotel plays host to the annual Legal Business Awards and I was happy to capture the action this year. 1000 lawyers all in one room, it’s quite a sight! Meera Syal, of Goodness Gracious Me fame, hosted the awards ceremony and she had some great stories to tell and did a lovely job. Following the awards ceremony, there was live music, more booze and casino tables for guests to enjoy, which are always a hit. Here are some of my favourite images from the evening.
Headshots with Personality
It’s the people that make a business tick, so why not show some personality in them?
This year I began working with Clarasys, a medium sized consultancy based in Waterloo. They have a brilliant work environment, proven by the fact they came very high up the Sunday Times Best Companies To Work For list. So far I’ve had the task of capturing two portraits or each staff member; one looking to camera and one where they are engaging with someone just off camera, which is great for showing more of a person’s personality, particularly when you only have a limited time with each person. I’ve also had the pleasure of photographing their 8th birthday party at the OXO tower. I’m looking forward to working more with them in the future as they grow and move into new premises.
LinkedIn Images for McDonalds UK
Portraits and lifestyle images for McDonalds UK.
I have been lucky enough to get the chance to visit the UK headquarters of McDonalds, with the purpose of taking some photos for their company LinkedIn page. They wanted some images that show what it’s like to work there, as well as some headshots of a few staff members. I was also there more recently to photograph their head of people, who, unsurprisingly, was lovely. Have a look at some of my favourite photos I took for McDonalds below.
Annual Report Photography
Individual and group portraits for New River’s annual report.
I was asked by the team at NewRiver to come in to their office to take some individual and team portraits for their annual report. They required quite a variety of photos in a limited time, and they all needed to be taken in quite a small space within their office. In order to make this shoot work, I needed an assistant. It’s not that often I work with assistants, but they do really add value and this case it helped enormously. We were able to plan out the different lighting scenarios and setups for each required shot, and then mark everything in order to be able to switch between them as quickly and seamlessly as possible. I was really pleased with how these images came out, you can see some of them below.
