Stonewall's Annual Equality Dinner 2017

Stonewall's annual dinner is always colourful, loud and a lot of fun!

I was thrilled to be asked for the third consecutive year to photograph the annual Equality Dinner for Stonewall, the UK's leading charity for the LGBT community.

The dress code, 'dress to impress', allows guests of the dinner to dress how they like, and experience now tells me there are always some great outfits on display!

Stonewall is a fantastic charity and I always enjoy working with their team. I'm already looking forward to the next event coming up soon.

Here are some of my favourite shots from the evening.

Old Street Business Conference

A business conference by the British Retail Consortium at a great new hotel in Shoreditch.

One of my favourite clients, the British Retail Consortium, invited me along a couple of weeks ago to photograph their annual Customer Experience conference. The venue for the occasion was the Courthouse Hotel, a sophisticated new hotel in a grade II listed Baroque styled building.

The hotel made a great venue for a business event like this, with great facilities and lovely food. The conference itself was made up of various keynote talks and some more interactive breakout sessions, as well as plenty of time for people to network and get to know each other. To finish the day off there were drinks in the bowling alley. Yes, that's right, there's a room in the basement with two lanes of ten pin bowling. What a great way to finish off a business event!

Having worked in the strategy team of a couple of marketing agencies in a past life, I couldn't help being interested in what most of the speakers had to say. Fortunately I can handle listening and taking photos at the same time. Speaking of photos, here are some of my favourites from the 2017 BRC CX Conference.

Valentines Day at Fenwick Bond St

Fenwick on Bond Street London asked me to photograph their Valentines Day pop-up.

A couple of weeks ago I was invited along by one of my favourite clients, Fenwick of Bond St, to photograph their Valentines Day concession.

Red roses, hearts, balloons and personalised sweets were out in force! The personalised sweets were made by Spun Candy, for whom I've worked in the past, funnily enough.

I hope you had a good Valentines Day yourself, whatever you got up to! Mine included baking and cooking a meal for my wife, which seemed to go down pretty well!

Here are a few images to give you a flavour of the Fenwick Valentines Day experience.

A Quick Pint? Yes Please.

Introducing the world's first contactless beer pump. No more queuing behind people ordering huge rounds or complicated cocktails when all you want is a pint!

This month i was thrilled to help out on a project with the good people at PR agency Cohn & Wolfe for their client, Barclaycard.

Their innovation team had cleverly devised the world's first contactless beer pump. Simply put, you can avoid the queues at the bar, touch your card on the contactless reader, tap the screen and then pour yourself your own pint. Genius!

Such a great idea, this one, that it was picked up by loads of the media. Here are a few of the pics and an article in the business section of The Guardian and the Wired UK website.
