Country Estate + Ninja Warrior + Bubble Football = Great Summer Party
EF Language Schools invited me along to capture their awesome summer party at Ashridge in Hertfordshire. There were activities a plenty! I didn't know where to point my camera half of the time...
People could test their agility on a ninja warrior course, play bubble football, giant Jenga, badminton, volleyball - you name it, they had it! Of course some people were quite happy just to sit back, have a drink and watch everyone else go at it!
Here are some of my favourite shots from the day.
#Pride2016
Loud, colourful, vibrant, energetic and proud? It's the 2016 London Pride March with Stonewall.
Last weekend I was chuffed to be invited along by Stonewall to photograph their group marching in the annual London Pride March. Stonewall's group was the biggest of all the groups marching, with over 400 people committed to equality for the whole LGBT community. With bright red t-shirts, you couldn't miss the Stonewall contingent!
The sun shined for almost all of the march until right at the end, at which point most people found it quite refreshing. As the group marched towards Whitehall, the Red Arrows flew over head, which was an incredible sight!
Stonewall is a fantastic charity - if you don't know anything about them, I urge you to check out what they do for so many people across the UK.
Here are some of my favourite shots from the march...
Remaining Photographs
Whether you live in the UK or elsewhere, you probably won't have missed the news that this Thursday, the population of Britain will vote in a referendum to decide whether or not the country remains in the European Union or leaves it.
I remain apolitical, ahem. I have had the pleasure of photographing a couple of different events where senior political figures have laid out their reasons why the country should remain in the EU.
At the start of this month I photographed an annual dinner for World Jewish Relief, one of my great charity clients, where the Chancellor of the Exchequer, George Osborne, was in attendance to talk to Lord Daniel Finkelstein, the Times columnist in front of the guests. Mr Osborne was convincing and his remain stance well received by the audience.
A couple of weeks later, just last week, I photographed a Brexit panel debate featuring Lord William Hague of Richmond, the ex-leader of the Conservative party. He represented the remain vote whilst well-known economist, Dr Gerard Lyons, presented the argument to leave.
Both events were well attended as this referendum has become the most important decision the average British person is likely to vote for in their lifetime. Some of my favourite photos from the events can be seen here...
Sell, Sell, Sell!
Business event photography for the British Retail Consortium.
Not long ago I started working with the British Retail Consortium, the trade association for the British retail industry, on their events.
In the last few weeks I've had the pleasure of photographing a few different events for them, all of which have been a great success.
Two of the events were conferences with talks from many interesting people from the world of retail, and the other a talk by one of the industry's big names, Simon Wolfson, the CEO of Next Plc.
I'd like to share some of my favourite images from the three events...
