Top London Caterers
I'm very happy to say I'm now working with Jackson Gilmour, one of London's premier catering companies, to capture their work at events in which they are involved.
One such event was a summer party for a law firm held at a prestigious venue, the Victoria and Albert Museum. London's summer didn't disappoint, it was a perfect evening for a party in the giant courtyard in the centre of the museum.
Jackson Gilmour had plenty of great drinks on offer for the thirsty lawyers as well as food stations serving a delicious selection of Mediterranean tapas. Looking back at the photos makes me hungry!
Stonewall Equality Dinner 2015
A little while ago I was very happy to be invited along to photograph the annual Stonewall Equality Dinner. In case you don't know what Stonewall is, it's the leading charity that lobbies for LGBT rights.
The annual Equality Dinner took place in the ballroom at the Hilton Park Lane hotel and there were several celebrity guests in attendance. There were speeches by the CEO of Stonewall, Ruth Hunt, writer and theatremaker Stella Duffy and musician, journalist and Church of England priest Reverend Richard Coles.
The event was a great success, raising over £470,000 for the charity. The live auction after dinner was a particular highlight, with one of the top prizes being a private dinner with Liz Hurley and Joan Collins. Needless to say, it was popular!

Backstage At The Olivier Awards 2015
A few weeks ago I was thrilled to be invited along by the folks at Instagram to photograph the winners and presenters of the 2015 Olivier Awards within minutes of them coming off stage at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.
The Olivier Awards are the very prestigious London theatre awards named after the great actor, Laurence Olivier.
Anyway, lots of big names in theatre were in attendance and I was lucky enough to have my own mini studio set-up just backstage. Within minutes of the excitement of receiving their award, these big stars of the stage popped in front of my camera for a minute or two. Some of the presenters posed alongside the winners too with an oversized model of a 'Larry', the nickname for the award trophy that winners receive.
I was delighted to be able to photograph some very big names like Kevin Spacey, who won the Special Award for his contribution to the Old Vic Theatre over the past ten years. He was presented his award by legend of stage and screen, Dame Judi Dench. My favourite shot of the night came right at the end of the night when I was able to snap the two of them taking a selfie together.
You can see many other other stars of stage and screen in my favourite photos from the night below, as well as the resulting selfie that Kevin Spacey posted on his Instagram profile.
And the resulting selfie!
Restaurant Australia
I was absolutely delighted when I received an email from the PR team at Tourism Australia asking me to photograph their activation for the global Restaurant Australia campaign. If you haven't seen any of the campaign already on TV or at the cinema, check out this video. If it doesn't make you want to go to Australia, I don't know what would! I lived there for 3 years and one thing I miss a great deal is the food.
So each night last week I was at Australia House in London where Tourism Australia were hosting a pop-up restaurant. Every night represented a different Australian state, with food that was inspired by that state and cooked up by a different famous Aussie chef.
The first night on Monday represented South Australia, and the lovely, vivacious Maggie Beer was the chef responsible for the delicious food served up. The second night was all about New South Wales, and the food came courtesty of Skye Gyngell, whilst Wednesday night was all about Queensland with the meal by Luke Rayment. Thursday night's food was cooked by Matt Stone to represent Western Australia, Friday night was Victoria's night with a meal by Shannon Bennett, and Saturday night featured food from the Northern Territory cooked up by Rachel O'Sullivan.
The room in which the restaurant was hosted is magnificent. In fact, it was used in the Harry Potter films as Gringotts Bank. Various VIPs were in attendance, like Barry Humphries and radio DJ Neil Fox, both pictured below.
I had an absolute blast taking photos all week and working side by side with the Tourism Australia team, who I look forward to working with again.
