Residential London Conference Photography

A fantastic corporate event spanning two days at the Hilton in London’s beautiful Syon Park.

Syon Park was the venue for this two day conference, which consisted of keynotes speakers and multiple breakout sessions, as well as an evening event in the stunning Syon House.

I love photographing large corporate events like this one, as I have the freedom to roam around, capturing the different parts of the conference as well as the overall atmosphere.

The conference attendees stayed the night in the Hilton hotel on site, as did I, which was great as it allowed me to start feeling super fresh and relaxed on the second morning.

Here are some of my favourite images from the two day conference in London.

A Red Roundtable

The Kuryakin room in South Place Hotel is one of my favourite spots in London for a small corporate event.

South Place Hotel in the city of London is a chic venue for any corporate event, with a number of different rooms with super cool decor.

The Kuryakin room is a favourite of mine, with a striking red theme. It has a stunning, circular red table in its centre which makes it perfect for roundtable discussions and dinners.

I was there for Legal Business on this occasion for one of their regular roundtable events. Rooms like this one allow me to create images that stand out from most corporate event photography.

National Gallery Drinks Reception

I hadn't photographed an event at the National Gallery before this one but I would love to capture another one, it's such a great venue.

It was my first time shooting there, but I can confirm The National Gallery is a brilliant location for a drinks reception event. Lots of space, beautiful artwork everywhere and a lovely atmosphere combine to make it a great events space. I was invited along to capture a drinks reception for Teneo, and with speeches from Lord William Hague amongst others, it was a lovely occasion.

I was able to use a pop of off-camera-flash along with a grid which allowed me to really highlight the speakers whilst not letting light spill onto the precious artworks. Here are some of my favourites from the evening.

Luxury Estate Agents

The Luxury Real Estate International Symposium 2018 took place at St James' Court, a Taj Hotel in Victoria, London, and I was there to photograph it.

London is a global destination city. I think it will always remain that way simply because it's the centre of the world from a time point of view. Greenwich Mean Time will always be the centre of the world, so it makes sense for London to be a hub.

Anyway, London is definitely a leading business capital and attracts a lot of overseas businesses as a place to stage their events. In January, an organisation called Who's Who in Luxury Real Estate, based in Seattle, were in town for their International Luxury Real Estate Symposium. Being held at the very lovely St James' Court by Taj hotel in Victoria, the event was attended by estate agents from across the world who specialise in luxury, high-end properties.

As most of the attendees were from outside the UK, it was only fair that the first activity was a red bus tour of the capital, taking in the sites of central London in an afternoon. I went along for the ride and learnt some new things I didn't know about the city in which I've spent most of my life.

Following the bus tour were some welcome drinks and canapes at the hotel. The second day saw the conference kick off in the function rooms at St James' Court. There were speakers and panel sessions all followed by lively discussions. The day ended with drinks in a proper English pub where local ales were drunk and classic pub grub was consumed.

The final day of the symposium consisted of more speakers, panels and Q&As, before it was finished with an award handed out by the chairman of Who's Who in Luxury Real Estate, John Brian Losh.

Some of my favourite photos from the three days can be seen below. Thanks for popping by my blog.
