My Brand and Website Has Had a Glow Up

The hottest summer ever is drawing to a close and it’s time to get back to school, back to work, back to real life.

Whilst trying to keep cool over the last couple of months I have been working hard along with some lovely agency folks to create a brand new look and feel for Andy Tyler Photography, along with a slick new website to better show the world what my work is all about.

The new branding aims to really stand out from the crowd with a darker colour palette that allows the vibrant colours to pop out from the screen. Having researched lots of photography websites and plenty of other sites too, I felt that a dark look could reflect the premium nature of my work. It also looks very different to the majority of corporate photographer websites so that it can hopefully make an impact on potential clients.

The text of the logo mimics the concept of highlights and shadows which are of course what photography is all about

Bold and contrasting colours to reflect my photographic style.

I’ve always been drawn to images with contrast rather than flat, lifeless images, so it felt appropriate for the new look and feel. The colours of black, orange and white are great because they evoke a sense of sophistication but with an abundance of energy and clarity too.

When you book me, you get me, not someone else. I pride myself on delivering a great experience.

I’ve created new pages on the site that explain more about the process of working with me, along with ‘quick info’ boxes where potential clients can get a rapid understanding of what they get when working with me and the starting costs also, which I didn’t used to have on my old website. I’m interested to see if that makes a difference to the volume and quality of the enquiries I receive.

A Fresh Look And Feel

With my background in digital marketing from my previous career 15 years ago, I was able to create my own website using Squarespace fairly easily. Squarespace has changed and improved a lot over the years, but I decided it was time to let someone new have a go at designing what my brand and website would look like. I am so glad I did because I’m thrilled with the new brand and website. I think it really pops and is different enough to make an impact on potential clients and existing clients alike.

Thanks for visiting. I hope you enjoy the new look. Have fun exploring the new site, and I look forward to working with you soon.
