I got my first digital camera, a Sony Cybershot DSC-S75, in 2001 when I was 18. It had 3.3 megapixels and was nearly the size of a DSLR today! I loved that camera. Anyway, since 2001 I’ve gone through many cameras, multiple lenses and learned a whole lot about different styles and approaches to photography.
Since turning ‘pro’ in late 2012, I’ve taken photos for annual reports, theatres, coffee shops, jewellery designers, retirement homes and live music acts. I’ve also captured weddings, one very public funeral, a few marches, various sports events, and carried out shoots for agencies and corporates.
I’ve had work published in The Times, The Independent, The ‘i’, Shortlist Magazine as well as numerous online publications including BBC.co.uk, DailyMail.co.uk, TheMirror.co.uk and DigitalSpy.co.uk.
I’ve also had work published in trade publications like The Grocer and many other blogs and regional news websites.

The most common thing I hear at the start of a shoot? “I hate having my photo taken.” By the end, that usually changes to “That was way better than I expected!” I genuinely enjoy the challenge of helping people feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera.
Technical Expertise
I bring professional studio lighting equipment to every single shoot. Whether I’m in a bright corner office with floor-to-ceiling windows or a windowless basement meeting room, I can create beautiful, flattering light. I understand lighting at a fundamental level.
