Office Lifestyle Case Study
Teneo is a communications firm that advises senior leaders in business. Their team is full of experts in many fields and their office, in the heart of the City of London, is a recently refurbished building with fantastic sustainability credentials. So when they invited me along to capture some photos of some of their team at work, I was excited.

The Brief
The resulting images should feel premium to reflect the high-end nature of Teneo’s work, with intentional artificial lighting and styling. This is very much a case of lifestyle photos that are set up, compared to the alternative documentary approach where I wander around the office with my camera and capture authentic moments.
The Process
Before the shoot I visited the office and we did a walkaround to plan out where we could take the different shots the client wanted. This allowed me to bring the appropriate lighting equipment with me to achieve the desired result. I always shoot this kind of work with my camera connected to my computer so the client can see the images immediately and request any changes as we shoot. The client also wanted a hair and makeup artist to help people look and feel their best, so I arranged one and she came along on the day. She also acts as another pair of trusted eyes on set which is really helpful.
Final Results
The client was delighted with the images which have been used online and in print.
