How Does It Work When You Book An Event Shoot For Your Business?

01.

Enquiry & Estimate

Once you enquire, I will ask, if you have not already provided them, the key information about your event. The event date, The event timings, The event location

I will get back to you with a quote for the event.

02.

Book Event Date

If you choose to accept the quote, then I will lock the event date into my calendar. If you are a first time client, I might ask you for a deposit to hold the date.

03.

photography brief

Closer to the event date, I ask my clients to provide me with a photography brief. It doesn’t need to be long (that’s one of the reasons it’s called a brief!) but it needs to outline a few things:

  1. The general style of photography that you would like for your event.
  2. An outline of the schedule for the event.
  3. Any key photos that you specifically need captured.
  4. Whether or not you need any photos during or immediately after the event for social media (or other usage).

04.

Day of Event

On the day of the event, I will arrive at least 15 minutes before I am due to start taking photos, often longer, so that I can ensure I’m ready to start on time.

Post-Production & Delivery

After The Shoot

Following the event I will choose the best images out of all the photos I have taken.

Those photos are all individually edited and then uploaded to a private online gallery from which you can download all the photos. This is normally within 24-48 hours of the event finishing. You can keep the link to yourself or even better, share it with the guests of your event so they can see the photos too. The gallery has a feature where it can very quickly find all the photos of any person it can identify in the photos.
