The Brief
The client was looking for a headshot photographer who could make their team look their absolute best and was able to come back time after time to photograph new members of the team in the exact same style. The headshots needed to have a warm feel to them in order to stand out from the common feel of corporate headshots coming across cold and clinical.
The Process
I arrived 90 minutes before the first shoot, in order to get set up and ready. The first time setting up this lighting set up needed a bit more time because it involved four lights, a reflector and a pop-up background. In order to ensure I was able to replicate this setup time and time again in future, I took photos of all the lighting equipment once it was set up, along with exact measurements of where each of the lights were in relation to one another. My camera was anchored on a tripod and connected to my computer so that each person could choose their favourite photo or two before they left the room, benefitting from my experience in picking the best photos from a selection.
