Engaged In Regent’s Park and London Zoo
Jen and Lukasz got in touch after a good friend of mine had introduced them to my photography. They were recently engaged and were looking to have some photos taken that they can look back on in future years and maybe as well for use on a ‘save the date’ note to their wedding guests.
I met them on a cold, crisp but beautifully sunny winter’s day in Regent’s Park, London. Having had a quick chat, we wasted no time and got down to business! Jen and Lukasz took a leisurely stroll through Regent’s Park, which was amazing because there weren’t that many people there early on a Sunday morning. I stayed ahead of them, snapping away with a long lens to capture them as they wandered, hand in hand, down past the lake and into the park. We occasionally stopped for a moment to take a more posed photo in certain locations which were too nice to pass up.
After an hour or so, we reached the gates of London Zoo. We went into the zoo and had a good wander around, checking out the tigers, the meerkats, the monkeys, giraffes and penguins (amongst many other lovely animals). I was having to concentrate on taking photos of Jen and Lukasz so I wasn’t too distracted my the amazing animals all around the place!
After another hour or so, the two of them took a ride on the merry-go-round before I left them to enjoy the zoo on their own. Here are a few of my favourite images from a lovely morning.
